The Queenslander is made in Australia with high-quality structural aluminium which is powder coated in the colour of your choice and fitted with stainless steel hardware. Likewise, the durable acrylic canopy colour is also customisable with a great range of choices, all guaranteed to resist fading as well as water, mildew and mould. That’s not where the choices end – you can also choose whether or not to include a valance, as well as the shape. This umbrella operates using a removable crank handle so that only select people can operate it, which is perfect for commercial installations, as is its high UV protection rating which can reduce solar heat gain by up to 90%! The base for the Queenslander is hot-dipped galvanised to protect it from the elements and can be powder coated to match the frame, and we are more than happy to talk about the best base option for your specific needs.

The outdoor acrylic fabric can reduce solar heat gain by up to 90% and blocks UV radiation to create UPF50+ protection. This specially-made fabric has been treated to make it resistant to mould and mildew for long-lasting use and is also water resistant for shelter from the rain.

The frame is made of high quality structural aluminium with stainless steel fittings to resist rust and has multiple powder-coat colour options available to match the canopy or fit into a colour scheme. The frame includes an effortless opening and closing system utilising the removable crank handle, and its position can be locked into place using a locking pin. As the Queenslander has such an impressive reach of shade as a heavy-duty commercial umbrella, it must be attached to the ground. The umbrella will arrive fully-assembled and will need to be either bolted down or installed inground. Shade Australia does have the ability to install in the Sydney area and we suggest giving us a call to discuss the best options for you and your space.

As this product is made to order to your specifications and colours we are unable to accept returns due to change of mind (including if the product does not fit due to incorrect measurements). Your satisfaction is of the utmost importance to us so please triple check all details before confirming your order.
Upon the arrival of your product, we encourage you to check and make sure that the product has been made to the measurements and colours that you specified as soon as possible without removing or throwing away any packaging.
Defective, Damaged or Mis-shipped Items
If we shipped you an item that is incorrect or damaged, you will be eligible for an exchange. When requesting for the exchange, please be ready to provide customer service with photographs clearly showing the problem as soon as possible. If you believe your item was damaged during shipping, we will need photographs showing the damaged packaging as well.

It is important to note that this product is made to order, whether you ordered a standard size or provided custom measurements and colours, materials cannot be reused once the manufacturing process has begun. The good news is that after placing your order there is still time to change your mind:

The Queenslander comes with a 2 Year Warranty on both the frame and the fabric.
Delivery needs to be coordinated so that someone is on site and available to receive your umbrella when it arrives.
We deliver this umbrella Australia Wide.
A typical Umbrella is 3.8 metres long and weights over 65kg. This means that it will require more than one person to lift it from the truck when it arrives. That’s why we need to co-ordinate with you a time that you are available to take delivery. Once we dispatch your umbrella, we email you the Consignment Number. This allows you to log onto the courier’s website (e.g. TNT) and track your delivery so you know when it is going to be delivered. We do our best to ensure your umbrella is packaged securely and arrives safely.
The cost of delivery reflects the actual cost of preparing the item for shipment and the courier charges. Shipping for us is a service associated with getting your goods to you safely and smoothly. We do not charge any profit margin on shipping.
What happens if my umbrella arrives in a damaged condition?
If your umbrella arrives and you notice that it has been damaged in transit, you should refuse to accept delivery. This will mean that the transport company is responsible for getting it back to the factory where it can be repaired, repackaged and returned to you. You should immediately call us and advise us of the situation. If possible take photographs of the damage.

Change of Mind
This happens and we understand. Contact us within 30 days of receiving the items to organise return. Postage for returns due to change of mind is at the buyer’s expense. The items will be inspected upon return (refer to Refund note below).
It doesn’t fit

Colour’s not right
Contact us and we’ll arrange to get it back. We’ll swap it over for the correct colour or refund you. Postage for returns due to incorrect colour is at the buyer’s expense. The items will be inspected upon return (refer to Refund note below).
The item arrives damaged
If possible, reject the delivery if the items are visibly damaged. Otherwise, contact us asap and we’ll arrange collection of the items and redelivery of a replacement.
We sent you the wrong item
Our sincerest apologies for this rare occurrence. We’ll arrange to pick it up at our cost and send you the correct item ASAP.
The item is faulty
This is a very frustrating experience, and your satisfaction is our priority. Contact us asap and we’ll arrange collection of the items and promptly organise repair, replacement, or refund of the item.
Important Points when returning items:
Refunds - all items are inspected upon return, and we reserve the right to charge a restocking fee in case the item is damaged in some way. If it’s in a resalable condition, we’ll refund you the full price less the cost of return shipping. Otherwise, the restocking fee is the cost of making the item “as new” again (e.g., re-boxing the item).
Our refund policy extends for 30 days of receiving the item. You must notify us within this time if you plan to return the goods.
Our returns policy extends to all items we sell except for:

Custom-made items such as shade-sails;
Made-to-order items such as umbrellas;
Custom branded items such as market umbrellas.
Ex-demonstration, second-hand, or damaged stock are not covered under this Returns Policy.
