DRiZ (pronounced "Dry Zed") is made using the famous Rainbow Z16 shade cloth. Rainbow Z16 has been used in Australia now for over two decades and has proven itself in tens of thousands of installations right around Australia.
DRiZ takes this very high-quality shade fabric and coats it with a clear waterproofing resin to produce a lightweight waterproof shade barrier.
Not only does DRiZ protect against the rain but it also has some other appealing features;
DRiZ is 3 metres wide. A complete roll is 33m long. Customers can order as little as 1m or by the roll. As an example, if a customer purchased a cut length of 5 metres they would get a strip of fabric 5m long x 3m wide or 15m2

DRiZ Waterproof shade clotyis suitable for a wide range of applications including;
CARE MUST BE TAKEN WHEN INSTALLING THIS PRODUCT. If the fabric becomes stretched, for example if water pools, the fabric will stretch and the plastic resin coating will tear. Accordingly, Waterproof Shade Cloth must NOT be used in any horizontal application as it will pond and the weight of the water could cause damage. It may only be used where a slope is at least 20º and must be tensioned sufficiently to prevent holding water. DRIZ is not designed for large tension applications such as shade sails or for blocking strong winds. Coated side must be installed on the underside (away from the sun).

The DRi-Z All Weather Shade Fabric warranty covers customers where the fabric has degraded due to exposure to sunlight. Rainbow Shade Products offer a 5 year limited warranty which is structured on a pro-rata basis.
