This product comes with a 1 Year warranty on the Fame and a 3 Year fade resistant warranty on the fabric.
Warranty is on workmanship. It does not cover umbrellas which are damaged due to wind.

This umbrella comes with a complimentary protection cover. This cover is not covered under the warranty of the umbrella. If you'd like to upgrade to a genuine O'Bravia Protection cover, please select it from the options above. The upgraded O'Bravia cantilever protection cover has a 3 year fade resistant warranty and a 12 month warranty on workmanship.
What’s so special about this umbrella?
The neat feature about the Regis is that it tilts in both directions. Umbrellas including the Savannah and Asta tilt by sliding the pistol grip tilt handle up and down the pole. The Regis not only tilts in this direction but also in a side-to-side direction. For example, if you wish to shade the northern end of your pool but can only locate the base to the eastern side of that pool the Regis is the perfect option. Normal cantilever umbrellas will block the eastern sun - the side to side tilt feature allows the Regis to block the eastern sun and the northern sun.
Can I install this umbrella myself?
Sure, the umbrella comes fully assembled ready for installation. If you’re bolting the umbrella down to a concrete slab, you need to drill four holes and use masonry anchors (not supplied) to bolt it down. If you’re planning to install it into a grassed area, you need to dig a hole and concrete an in-ground base (optional extra) into the ground. Once this is done it takes a couple of strong people to lift the umbrella from its box and slide it over the spigot ready for use. Note, the inground base is exclusive to Shade Australia.
Do I need any other bits and pieces to install it?
Yes. If you’re bolting down to a concrete slab, we recommend you purchase some anchor bolts from us when you purchase your umbrella. If your installing in-ground, you need to purchase the in-ground socket in addition to the umbrella itself. If you’re optioning up with one of the Resin Bases or the Inground socket, you’ll need to purchase these from us along with blue metal from a nursery or landscape supply company.
Can I leave this umbrella up all the time?
No. You’ll note that many of the Shelta Umbrellas have been tested in a controlled wind tunnel environment to quite high wind speeds. This does not mean that the umbrellas are able to withstand wind gusts in the real world. We strongly recommend that you collapse your umbrella when not in use or when breezy conditions threaten. Damage caused by wind is not considered as a warranty claim.
What accessories do you recommend I purchase with this umbrella?
If you’re bolting to a concrete slab, then anchor bolts for sure. Also, the umbrella does come with a protection cover but it’s relatively light weight isn’t included as part of the actual umbrella warranty. If you really want to give your new umbrella the best possible protection we recommend you purchase an Large Cantilever Cover. This will fit neatly on your new umbrella and give it the best possible protection.
A LED light is also a handy accessory to purchase. It simply clips onto a central drop-down arm.
We generally hold stock of this item at our Ingleburn warehouse but if you need it urgently or are planning to visit us to pick it up, it’s best you contact us so we can ensure that we meet your requirements. If we don’t have the stock on hand we can usually get it in quite quickly.
As this item is quite bulky, you may be required to assist in unloading the item from the delivery truck. If this is a requirement for your area, someone from Shade Australia will be in touch to organise a day that suits you best. If you are not at home on the scheduled day of delivery your item WILL NOT be left at your premises. This may incur redelivery fees.
