After years of development, we are proud to offer the "Sunranger Rova” umbrella base to the Australian market. This multi-function umbrella base is incredibly flexible providing stability for a wide range of umbrellas. 

Designed in Cape-town South Africa by a passionate umbrella architect, the "Rova" base has been patented internationally and speaks to design excellence and practical application.

PACKAGING & ASSEMBLY

The umbrella comes flat-packed for fast and easy assembly. All components of the base are included for fast easy assembly. We do not usually supply the ballast weights because of the high cost of shipping.  When you choose the colour of your umbrella base, we match it with the same colour spigot.

BALLAST WEIGHT

Pavers are an easy and cost effective method to create ballast for your base. Each paver costs around $3.50. Smaller size umbrellas in a domestic situation should have 6 pavers. Larger umbrellas in a commercial setting can have up-to 9 pavers giving a gross weight of 90+kgs. Item at most Bunnings stores and available for pick-up or in person. Click on the paver image to go to online store where you can purchase these items.  Alternatively, sand-bags, or any other heavy ballast can be used to give the weight required to make the umbrella base stable in breezy conditions.

TECHNICAL

• The steel frame has been e-coated for rust protection and powdercoated finish. 
• The frame itself including the spigot weighs 35kg.
• Additional weight up-to 60kg can be added to the base.

SHADES & SIZES

The Sunranger Rova base is available in two configurations. A centre post configuration for market style umbrellas and a side-post design exclusively for Parashade. 

ASSEMBLY

Sunranger Rova umbrlela base comes flat packed for easy delivery. A great deal of thought and care has gone into the packaging and method of assembly. This video gives a good overview. There are several different models so your model may vary slightly. 

WARRANTY

The Sunranger Rova base is is warranted for 12 months for normal operation. We expect the life of this product used correctly and with proper maintenance should a lifetime.
