The Terrazzo umbrella collection is quite simply the finest range of market umbrellas available. Available in 4 sizes. Plantation timber is used for the frames and Sunbrella Acrylic is used for the canopy. This is the umbrella for those looking to invest in a top of the line timber umbrella.
The Terrazzo Deluxe collection of umbrellas represent the finest in umbrella craftsmanship anywhere in the world. Each umbrella is beautifully appointed with stainless steel fittings and is sourced from ecologically grown plantation timber as well as featuring the highest quality colour fast fabric Sunbrella Acrylic. These are a true umbrella of distinction which will look great and last for many, many years.
Sourced from sustainable hardwood timber plantations the Terrazzo umbrellas are built on Saligna hardwood frames. The frames are also treated with a special lacquer to protect the timber and enhance its natural beauty.
The central hub of the umbrellas are also machined out of hardwood. The arms are attached to the hub with stainless steel spiders and stainless steel nuts of bolts. The arms ends also get the stainless steel treatment with specially fitted arms ends to enhance the overall look of the umbrella. Terrazzo umbrellas are the only umbrella in our range to be fitted with stainless steel boots. This is a sleeve fitted over the lower pole section to protect it against wear and tear.
Recommended for use with an extra large or large umbrella baseplate.
The best base option is the Sunranger Umbrella Base. These are a bit more expensive than a normal umbrella base but have many advantages including, industrial rust prevention treatment, the ability to be weighted-up to remain stable in breezy conditions. If you are setting up either of the bigger umbrellas, i.e. the Verona or the Samarkand in a location where it is particularly breezy then we recommend adding additional weight to your umbrella base to prevent it from toppling over. Not only could this damage or break your umbrella, it could damage property or injure people.
The umbrellas are opened and closed using a strong rope and pulley system. Before opening the umbrella, it is important to flare the short arms out a little bit in order to make it easier to open the umbrella. Never force the umbrella as this can damage the mechanism.
