Hog Rings are small galvanised rings 22mm in length, designed for fixing shadecloth to cable or wire with a maximum diameter of 6mm.
Hog Rings are available in boxes of 1000 and should only be used with No. 22 Hog Ring Pliers.
Instructions: Firstly bunch the shadecloth around the cable with sufficient room for the Hog Ring to pass through several layers. Hold Hog Ring Pliers at 45 degree angle and squeeze until a complete circle is formed around the cable and through the cloth. For the most effective result, Hog Rings should be placed no more than 50mm apart.
