Frontier™ shade sails represent the cutting-edge in shade sail design and technology.  Manufactured to ISO 9001 Quality Assurance Standards, each shade sail is designed and patterned using sophisticated computer software to ensure perfect accuracy. 

Note:  Some  shade sails may use different fabrics as specified by the customer.  For smaller sails we use lighter wire rope and for larger sails we use larger wire rope and heavier corners. 

Each sail is carefully plotted in 3 dimensions to ensure all measurements are accurate.  Measurements are then electronically sent to a robotic plotter which marks out the cut-lines on the fabric.  Once cut, the sail is hand sewn using large double needle industrial sewing machines. Cables are measured, cut (a 1mm tolerance is allowed) and mechanically locked off at each corner.

Synthesis Commercial 95 knitted shadecloth has been chosen for its superior UV block, optimum shade factor and excellent overall cover.  Regarded as the most advanced shade fabric in the world, millions of tiny holes allow air to flow freely. This breathing effect has been tested to reduce the temperature by as much as one-third.  The lock-stitch construction of the fabric uses a combination of tape and monofilament yarn to create a dimensionally stable material that is incredibly strong. 

Commercial 95 is a high quality, heavy duty knitted shadecloth specifically developed as a very strong and stable outdoor fabric for use in tension structures and shade sails.
