Canopy & Fabric
Canopies are manufactured from Ferrari 502 Premium PVC. This fabric is the choice of cafe' and restaurant owners needing a waterproof solution. The fabric is specially imported from Italy for its hard wearing characteristics, UV resistance and is lacquer coated to resist staining. A 'cut length' charge may apply for some colours.

Frame & Construction
The frames are made from structural grade aluminium which gives the strength of steel without the weight or the worry of rust. The arm and frame sections are custom-extrusions which have been designed, refined and tested over many years of use.
Each umbrella is fitted with an internal rack-and-pinion gearbox which makes raising and lowering the umbrellas a very safe and simple job. All the fittings are stainless steel.
Each umbrella is assembled by hand and a detailed checklist is carried out on each structure before being packaged for shipping.

Wind Rating
Commercial umbrellas have a fail-safe wind rating of up to W33 or approximately 120km/h (75 mph).

Commercial Umbrellas come with a 2 Year Manufacturers Workmanship Warranty.

- Valances: A valance is the edging around an umbrella. Select either a "Straight Edge" or for a more traditional look, a "Scallop Edge" valance.

- Clear PVC side-curtains: Turn your umbrella into an outdoor room with the option of removable side-curtains.
- Shade side curtains: Another useful addition for beating the early morning or late afternoon sun.

Installation Methods
Your new Commercial Umbrella comes virtually fully assembled ready for installation. Once the base is installed (see below) the umbrella can be removed from its protective packaging and prepared for standing. Due to the size and weight of the umbrella it is recommended that a number of strong people be on hand to carry out this procedure.
Due to their size and weight, these umbrellas need to be suitably anchored. Choose to bolt your new umbrella down to a suitably strong concrete slab or install using an inground installation.
Lead-time
Each umbrella is made to your exact specifications so you should anticipate a lead-time from placement of order to delivery of around 4 weeks depending on the time of year. Note: It is less in winter and longer in summer.
