Glad you asked.  First thing to consider is the intended use.  Over the years we’ve found that our Marquees get used for many different applications.  Some people use them on a regular basis and a good example of this would be a school.  Twice a week over summer, out they come and up they go.  They get thrown in the back of the car or van, driven to a sports field and different people each week are putting them up and down.  In a situation like this, a lighter weight marquee simply isn’t going to go the distance.  What’s required here is a very strong frame.  The things we consider make a top quality marquee here include:

• A heavy-section aluminium frame with legs at least 40mm square
• An anodised frame which will never rust or tarnish
• Rigid truss bars which resist bending
• The whole frame bolted together with (stainless steel) nuts and bolts which allows parts to be replaced should they ever break
• A heavy-duty canopy which repels water and is 99% UV protective
• A smooth folding action which allows the whole thing to be folded down in just moments
